Homecoming

We were on our way home from picking up a chandelier, when we received a phone call from the breeder, Chris, saying the mother has weened the puppies, and that they're ready to come with us whenever.  We were thinking about picking them up Saturday morning, but decided we just had to go straight away.  We picked up my little sister, and off we went to pick up our babies, Hiro & Maro.

Here they are at 6 weeks. Maro is on the left, and Hiro's on the right.  Their stuffed mouse smelled something awful, but it had their mother's scent so we had to bear it.  They slept like this the whole ride home in a storage tub.

We let them sleep in the storage tub throughout the night.  They finally woke up around 4 a.m. You wouldn't believe how excited we were when the finally woke up and were peeking out of the tub.

That's Maro.  She looks kinda homesick, yeah?

On Top of Spaghetti....

It's a recipe made specifically for dogs so you don't have to worry about making them sick. The puppies love it because it's like eating people food. It's easy to make and it helps get rid of leftover meat and vegetables that's sitting in the fridge. What do you think of it, Ando? Look at that tongue! You spilled some, Hiro. Maro even looks grumpy when she eats. The Verdict: What do you think? They licked the bowl clean! Meatball Spaghetti Ingredients 9 oz - 1 lb ground meat (I used pork) 1 egg 1 small onion 1 zucchini or carrot 1/2 bunch oregano or few dashes of dry oregano vegetable oil for frying 5 oz cooked spaghetti, cut into small pieces (about inch in length) 1 small can (6 oz) tomato sauce Preparation Use the food processor to chop the onion, zucchini/carrot, and meat separately. Mix the on...
