I came home to this.  All the bedding was newly washed.  Looks like they'll be pooping the stuffing for days. Sigh

My husband noticed the house was too quiet, so he went looking for the puppies.  They snuck behind their chaise bed and were huddled together.  All that was left was an empty chocolate truffle wrapper. It's my fault.  I left the candy on the ottoman, and was too busy playing my new video game to notice that Hiro managed to grab it off the ottoman.  When my husband caught them, Maro was gleefully hogging the candy for herself.  Chocolate is bad if a full candy bar is eaten...so this small truffle was okay. No pictures... I was too busy playing my game.  I have to be more careful next time.

Hiro is worn out. He's been doing my homework.

This was my first attempt at the Korean Kalbi (short rib bbq) and Cha Trung Hap (steamed Viet quiche).  It turned out pretty good...but like all my dishes, I'm not good at making it photogenic.  Like my Dad always says,"Doesn't matter, it'll come out the same way.." yup, eeew. Served with jasmine rice and pickled leeks bc I haven't pickled anything myself yet. My new indoor grill.  It's about $35 on Amazon.  It's the smallest sized Sanyo, but it's perfect for an apartment or couple/single person.  We're only using this until we get an outdoor grill..but this one is so convenient, so we'll see.   See, it even leaves the grill marks...it's much better than grilling inside an oven. I added the egg based on what the recipe said to use..doesn't seem to be enough here.  Also, the Joan Chen steamer I used is crap.  That's why the egg wasn't even right there on the side. Hiro got yelled at by his Daddy.  He goes underneath his time-out spot and sulks. Boo hoo....

It was very windy outside today so it was a perfect opportunity to let them wear their new jackets before they outgrew them.  Half off at Petsmart!  Hiro didn't seem to mind his jacket... it fit like a cape.  Super Hiro! Maro, on the other hand, refused to move around in her new jacket.  She looks like Yoda there, yeah?  She can totally be a model.  She's got junk in the trunk, too!
