How was your weekend?

So how was everyone's Thanksgiving and Black Friday. Our Thanksgiving was awesome. We had a traditional meal at Dustin's family's house. There was 3 different kinds of turkey: traditional roasted, deep fried, and cajun. Cajun was my favorite. We had sides of super sweet potato, dressing, mashed potato, french style green beans, and my other favorite frito corn salad. It was so good to eat a traditional meal; it felt like it's been so long. We had some leftover turkey and fed it to the puppies. Hiro loved it, of course. He was doing spins. We went over to my aunt's house shortly after, still stuffed to the gizzards. The food was so good, I had to eat some more. I love cheese lobster! I brought over some Italian creme cake from Sam's..and omg, that thing is good! I had two slices. Sam's is the best. RIP Willy Did you buy anything for black friday? I did a little bit. I woke up early around 3 am and bought stuff online. I ordered a tool box for Dust...

On Top of Spaghetti....

*Updated 11/5/09* I added more pictures and corrected some stuff. I made meatball spaghetti for the puppies last night because Hiro was getting tired of the regular food. It's a recipe made specifically for dogs so you don't have to worry about making them sick. The puppies love it because it's like eating people food. It's easy to make and it helps get rid of leftover meat and vegetables that's sitting in the fridge. What do you think of it, Ando? Look at that tongue! You spilled some, Hiro. Maro even looks grumpy when she eats. The Verdict: What do you think? They licked the bowl clean! Meatball Spaghetti Ingredients 9 oz - 1 lb ground meat (I used pork) 1 egg 1 small onion 1 zucchini or carrot 1/2 bunch oregano or few dashes of dry oregano vegetable oil for frying 5 oz cooked spaghetti, cut into small pieces (about inch in length) 1 small can (6 oz) tomato sauce Preparation Use the food processor to chop the onion, zucchini/carrot, and meat separately. Mix the on...

Korean short rib BBQ & Vietnamese Quiche

This was my first attempt at the Korean Kalbi (short rib bbq) and Cha Trung Hap (steamed Viet quiche).  It turned out pretty good...but like all my dishes, I'm not good at making it photogenic.  Like my Dad always says,"Doesn't matter, it'll come out the same way.." yup, eeew. Served with jasmine rice and pickled leeks bc I haven't pickled anything myself yet. My new indoor grill.  It's about $35 on Amazon.  It's the smallest sized Sanyo, but it's perfect for an apartment or couple/single person.  We're only using this until we get an outdoor grill..but this one is so convenient, so we'll see.   See, it even leaves the grill marks...it's much better than grilling inside an oven. I added the egg based on what the recipe said to use..doesn't seem to be enough here.  Also, the Joan Chen steamer I used is crap.  That's why the egg wasn't even right there on the side. Kalbi recipe:   The original recipe is here.   However, I...
